COGOP Statement on Bennet & Hickenlooper Failing Colorado, Again

Greenwood Village, CO — Colorado GOP Chairwoman Kristi Burton Brown released the following statement regarding the announcement today by the Department of Interior that the Bureau of Land Management Headquarters will be moving from Grand Junction, Colorado to Washington D.C.:

“Senator Bennet and Senator Hickenlooper have now failed Colorado twice – losing BOTH Space Command HQ and the Bureau of Land Management HQ. It’s absolutely pathetic that Bennet and Hickenlooper have stood by, done nothing, and supported the Democrat nominees who made this anti-Colorado decision. 99% of the Bureau of Land Management’s public lands are located in the West, and this decision proves that Democrats will always prioritize D.C. bureaucrats over taxpaying Americans. This decision will have negative economic repercussions here in Colorado, and every Coloradan should know that Bennet and Hickenlooper are directly responsible for this loss.”
