Colorado GOP Helps Defeat HB 1295

COGOP stands with Republican members of the Colorado House of Representatives in defending our Second Amendment rights

Greenwood Village, CO. – Last week, news broke that Tay Anderson, a Democrat member of the Denver Public Schools board and the Colorado Democrats’ 2020 “Rising Star of the Year” has been accused of disturbing sexual assaults that involve 62 current and former students.

Since these explosive allegations have come forward, leading Colorado Democrats have shamefully chosen to stay silent.

Initial allegations against Anderson came to light in March after Black Lives Matter 5280 provided a statement by a woman who approached the group in February to say Anderson had sexually assaulted her. More recently, a testimony by Mary-Kathrine Brooks Fleming on SB21-088, a mom of three DPS students, alleges that Anderson victimized 62 current and former DPS students.

This is a disturbing pattern and even more disturbing allegations. Yet, leading Democrats have chosen to stay silent and protect one of the top faces of their Party.
