Colorado GOP Statement on Bennet and Hickenlooper Cowering to Russia

Greenwood Village, Colorado – Colorado GOP Chairwoman Kristi Burton Brown released the following statement regarding Senator Bennet and Senator Hickenlooper’s disgraceful vote against the bipartisan Nord Stream 2 sanctions:

“It’s a disgrace that Senator Bennet and Senator Hickenlooper chose to stand with Vladmir Putin and Russia’s economic interests over both our own national security and economic future. While Democrats destroy our energy industry at home, they seem all too willing to support the energy industries of our adversaries.

“There was meaningful bipartisan support for these sanctions, yet
Bennet and Hickenlooper inexplicably chose to stand with Putin.”
