Greenwood Village, Colorado – Colorado GOP Chairwoman Kristi Burton Brown released the following statement today regarding Michael Bennet’s visit to Camp Hale and failure to pass the CORE Act, legislation that both Bennet and Hickenlooper routinely stated was one of their top priorities in 2020:

“Where is the CORE Act? Why haven’t Democrats gotten it passed in a Democrat controlled government? In 2020, both Hickenlooper and Bennet were going around Colorado saying that if Democrats were elected then they would get it passed. Democrats have full control of the White House, the Senate, and the House – yet Bennet and Hickenlooper have failed to get their top priority through a Democrat majority. It’s clear that Bennet’s absence of results is because he lacks any real clout or respect from his Democrat colleagues who just view him as Biden and Schumer’s yes man.”
